SHOUT OUTS

First, to Brother Tommy DePaul. He has been elected as the new Vice President for Local 3921. Congratulations. 

Second, to Brother Will Wyatt, thank you for your service to the local while serving as Vice President.

Last but certainly not least, a loud congratulations to President John Green. He has been appointed by Gov. Rick Perry to the Texas Commission on Fire Protection Advisory Board. Brother Green will represent the departments with 2-300 employees.

H.B. 413 -- Collective Bargaining  

The bill is still listed as being referred to committee. President Obama has stated that if the bill clears both chambers and reaches his desk, he will sign it.
